Wow, this is a very thoughtful essay.
I have never thought of thing like this before. I guess everyone of us is so busy during college, be it partying, studying, or devoting ourselves into what we love to do. Time flies by and we don’t even notice. Then most of us choose to run away from reality when graduation approaches.

Thank you for this wonderful note.

P/S, Sylvia is right, a voice recorder will be much help

Hey Joanna~! What about using a voice recorder? Since you can’t exactly drive and jot your thoughts down, perhaps it may be safer to say them out loud and then record them? Not sure if it will work with you, but that’s an idea! Or just have Steven jot it down for you hehe.

I understand your point of view. I have a very different point of view. It is the sanity of the word “marriage”, which is, by its very definition, a union between a Man and a Woman.

I have no problem with the union of two people, any two people, regardless of race, gender, religion or creed. I also believe that homosexual couples should share the same rights and privileges of any heterosexual couples.

However, my problem starts and ends with using the term “Marriage”

My idea of this is to take the word “Marriage” out of the legal system. All union between any two individuals should be covered by one term, say “Civil Union”. City hall and courts will no longer perform Marriage, but “Civil Unions”, rather it is a heterosexual or homosexual union. Churches and Religious organizations may perform “Marriage” as they choose, but in the eyes of the law, they are “Civil Union”

My two cents….
